British Pound Downtrend Held, Australian Dollar Rose Post Super Tuesday

The British Pound rose, but the GBP/USD downtrend held. The incoming BoE chief cooled rate cut bets. The AUD/USD rose with stocks after Fed easing and the “Super Tuesday” primary.
